Finnair will cancel around 80 flights on Friday due to a strike by airport ground workers, the airline announced on Tuesday.
The walkout by members of the Finnish Aviation Union (IAU) will mark the second industrial action this week. A similar strike on Wednesday led to the cancellation of approximately 100 flights.
Friday’s cancellations are expected to affect around 8,000 passengers. Finnair said it will contact affected customers directly.
The ongoing strikes are part of a labour dispute between the IAU and the Service Sector Employers group Palta. The conflict has continued since late January.
Negotiations are set to resume on Thursday. If talks fail, additional strikes are scheduled for 7, 16, 18, 21 and 23 July.
