Finnair will restart flights between Helsinki and Doha on Tuesday after a brief suspension due to safety concerns in the Middle East.
The Finnish airline halted the route earlier in June, citing the security situation in the region. Finnair confirmed that its aircraft will continue to avoid the airspace of Iraq, Iran, Syria and Israel.
The route will now run through Saudi Arabian airspace.
Finnair’s communications unit said the airline monitors global safety conditions continuously and adjusts flight paths when needed.
The resumed service reconnects Finland with Qatar’s capital, with changes reflecting Finnair’s updated risk assessments for the region.
