The Voice of Finland has confirmed its final eight semifinalists following Friday’s live broadcast on Nelonen and the Ruutu streaming platform. Contestants from the teams of coaches Arttu Wiskari and Maija Vilkkumaa secured the last places in the upcoming semifinal, which will air on 18 April.
From Wiskari’s team, Oliver Rosenholm, 16, from Lappeenranta, and Rosita Mäntyniemi, 31, from Peräseinäjoki, progressed to the semifinal.
Their teammates Olli Hartonen and Tatu Tossavainen were eliminated.
Vilkkumaa’s team saw Janina Suihkola, 25, and Risto Piirainen, 50, advance, while Johanna Sandell and Hanna Kanasuo exited the competition.
Each coach will now be represented by two remaining contestants in the semifinal. From there, just one singer from each team will advance to the grand final, set to air live on 25 April.

Rosa Kumar Saarinen, 17, a multi-instrumentalist and student from Helsinki who also chairs the city’s youth council.

Julia Janakka, 21, a singer and music student originally from Tampere, now based in Helsinki.

Adele Okkonen, 20, a musical theatre student from Oulu.

Janina Suihkola, a Sibelius Academy student with awards from accordion competitions and experience in live performance.
The competition continues next Friday at 20:00 with the semifinal broadcast on Nelonen and Ruutu. One finalist from each coach’s team will emerge to compete in the season finale the following week.
