Finns rose to the top in a British magazine’s feature on the Seven Deadly Sins, the tabloid Iltalehti reports.

“FINNS are a sinful bunch, reveals a study by BBC Focus, a monthly magazine about science and technology. The magazine created modern indicators for the Seven Deadly Sins, a concept known in Catholic theology since the Middle Ages, and used them to compare 35 countries from around the world with each other.

Finland rose to the Top 10 Worst list in four Deadly Sins, and the greatest threat to the salvation of Finnish souls appears to be lust. When all the sins were put together, Finland was in 4th place.

The other Nordic countries were also in the sin contest, but their success was more modest than Finland’s. Only in the sins of gluttony and pride did Sweden make it to the Top 10. In the former Sweden was in 7th place, while in the latter Sweden was 10th.”
