Finnish-Swedish telecommunications operator TeliaSonera said in a statement late on Monday it would launch Apple's iPhone in Finland, Denmark and Norway on 11 July. TeliaSonera fixed the launch date after the US company unveiled the third-generation (3G) version of the handset. In Finland, tie-in sales, that is, forcing the customer to buy an fixed-term airtime contract together with the handset, are allowed only for 3G mobiles. TeliaSonera added it would roll out iPhone in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania later in the summer.
