Tarja Halonen, Finland's president, is to travel to Italy on Monday.
Halonen is scheduled to meet with Italy's Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and President Giorgio Napolitano. The visit is to last three days.
Accompanying the President will be and her spouse Dr Pentti Arajärvi and Stefan Wallin (Swedish People's Party), culture and sport minister.
The visit marks the 91st anniversary of diplomatic relations between Finland and Italy.
