Hillary Clinton, the United States secretary of state, is preparing to visit Finland at the beginning of July at the invitation of Alexander Stubb (cons), the Finnish foreign minister, national daily Helsingin Sanomat reported Tuesday.
According to the paper Ms Clinton is to travel to Helsinki in conjunction with her participation in the anniversary conference of the Community of Democracies in Poland on 2-4 July.
Ms Clinton was originally planning to visit Finland in April, but had to cancel due to the flight restrictions caused by volcanic ash clouds from Iceland.
