Three in four families in Finland limit their children's internet use, Meidän Perhe, a magazine, quoted a poll as indicating on Tuesday.
Just over a quarter of the respondents said they were concerned about security on the internet.
Most of the parents interviewed for the poll said they had a right to know which internet sites their children visited.
About 1,100 parents were interviewed for the poll commissioned by Meidän Perhe and Microsoft.
