Seppo Koskinen, a Finnish nightclub and pub owner, said Friday he was planning building a Kalevala themepark in Valkeakoski in southern Finland.
Valkeakoski city council has agreed to rent some land for the park for ten years.
Mr Koskinen plans to open the park in Apianniemi in the summer.
Compiled from folklore by Elias Lönnrot in the 19th century, Kalevala is considered to be Finland's national epic.
