Finland's Service Union United (Pam) and the Finnish Tourism and Restaurant Industries Federation (MaRa) on Friday approved a government arbitrator's settlement proposal, averting a ski resort strike that had been set to begin in a week's time.
Ski resort workers had staged two weekend strikes earlier this month over a pay dispute.
