Janne Muurinen, the first aide-de-camp to the Finnish president, told the Finnish Broadcasting Company (YLE) on Tuesday that a number of fake invitations to the president's annual Independence Day reception had been sent to people the president's office had not invited. Lieutenant-Commander Muurinen added he considered the bogus invitations a security threat. The police were investigating the matter. STT
