| | Candles and memorial cards lie in front of a vocational school in Kauhajoki about 350 km (217 miles) from Helsinki September 24, 2008. | | Finnish police said Wednesday that Matti Saari, suspected of gunning down 10 of his fellow vocational school students in Kauhajoki on Tuesday, was believed to have planned the massacre for six years.Chief Inspector Jari Neulaniemi, the head of the Kauhajoki school shooting investigation at the National Bureau of Investigation, said the police had found messages in Saari's flat saying he hated the human race and had planned the mass murder since 2002. CI Neulaniemi added that Saari, who turned the gun on himself at the end of the killing spree and died in hospital, was the sole suspect.The police are to hold a news conference on course of the Kauhajoki investigation at midday.
