The Finnish Multicultural Women's Association (Monika) said Wednesday that "honour" killings had been committed in Finland.

The association added that the murders had taken place in the capital region.

The group added that it was possible that one incident reported as a suicide had actually been the "honour" killing of a child.

The police say "honour" killings have not occurred in the country.
