The police issued a warning of a dangerous batch of drugs believed to be fentanyl after a young man died of an overdose in Kuopio with two other people hospitalised on Tuesday.

The police added that all three had been brought to hospital from different locations within 24 hours.
The police had said earlier that all three people had died of an overdose.

Fentanyl is a highly potent synthetic painkiller used in a number of applications, including patches.
