Finland's agriculture and forestry ministry said in a statement Friday that the country's grain harvest might be the smallest in ten years.
The government's harvest forecast is 3.1 billion kilogrammes, some 28 per cent smaller than last year's harvest.

The statement added that local heavy rain and hail showers had delayed and disrupted sowing, with some parts suffering from minor drought.
