Scandinavian Airlines System's Finnish subsidiary Blue1 said in a statement Tuesday it would relaunch a nonstop Helsinki-Brussels service next March, having abandoned the route in 2007.
The statement added the route would be flown with 84-seat Avro RJ85 jets under a codeshare agreement with Lufthansa subsidiary Brussels Airlines, the newest member of Star Alliance.
The flights are to be operated twice daily Monday to Friday, with a single return trip on Sundays.
Blue1 said it was aiming for a market share of 30 per cent within the first six months of operation.
