Finnish minerals and wood-processing group Ruukki was listed on the London stock exchange on Monday, with some 248 million shares up for grabs. Ruukki said in a statement that no new shares had been issued.
"We believe this listing will enhance the company's profile and will provide an opportunity for Ruukki to widen its shareholder base through increased access to international institutional investors," Alwyn Smit, the managing director of Ruukki, said in the statement.
