Hankkija-Maatalous, a subsidiary of Finnish cooperative Suomen Osuuskauppa (SOK), said in a statement Tuesday it would cut up to 90 jobs.
It added that the objective of the cuts was to focus on core operations, which were agricultural supplies and machinery sales.
SOK owns 81 per cent of Hankkija-Maatalous, with Norwegian fertiliser maker Yara holding 19 per cent.
