About a million people in Finland suffer from back problems every year. The good news is that you can do a lot to prevent back trouble, both at work and at home.
Back problems should be taken seriously. But all too often, we only think of the part of the body we never see when we're already crouching in agony. As the back comprises interconnecting nerves, bones, muscles, ligaments and tendons, there are several potential sources of back pain.

Satellite navigators are becoming increasingly common and more sophisticated, but drivers would do well to remember that they are no substitute for common sense.
GPS-run satellite-navigation (sat-nav) systems for cars, once restricted to certain areas, is now becoming available to drivers globe over. MY demands are simple. I told the managers of the Helsinki Times I deserved a cost-of-living raise three times higher than the actual cost-of-living increase. That seems to be what the other strikers are asking, so this is also my demand. In response, management demanded that I stopped drinking heavily prior to negotiations. Touché.
